Specialist Reservoir

Must be team player and be able to build, update and effectively manage the integrated reservoir model and all activities that support the development of this model. Extremely proficient in using the latest UNIX workstation tools (Landmark & Schlumberger). Thorough knowledge of reservoir engineering, including material balance, open hole and production log analysis and interpretation techniques. A key responsibility will be to update the field development plans and reserve estimates. Experience in well test analysis in oil and gas reservoirs.

a) Masters in Petroleum Engineering.

Senior Engineer Reservoir

Leads, administers, provides functional guidelines to team members and carries out a variety of reservoir management studies and analysis including long-term reserves progression. Undertakes studies and special projects, conducts and supervises reservoir simulation studies, including thermal simulation experience and experience in analysis of thermal pilot data desired.

Experienced in using Landmark and Schlumberger well engineering software packages. Well Control certificate required.

• Proficient at interpreting and mapping data on either Schlumberger’s or Landmark’s workstations.

Clear understanding of systems tracts, facies developments, basin analysis and the predictive applications of sequence analyses for an exploration program. Good understanding of the major elements within the hydrocarbon system and the ability to risk and rank prospects accordingly for exploration (manage risk)

Masters in Geology/Geosciences.
15 - 20 years or more experience in either exploration or development geology with a Major Oil & Gas company or a Large Independent.

• Build and manage static/ geo-cellular models efficiently, and provide technical guidance for model improvement.


A) Bachelor degree in Earth Sciences/ Petroleum Engineering. Additional higher qualification would be an added advantage.

Specialist Geophysicist

• Extremely proficient in using the latest geological and geophysical software interpretation tools (Landmark & Schlumberger).
• Experience in seismic processing a plus.
• Familiarity with seismic attribute analysis to model rock properties, sedimentary facies and depositional architecture where possible.
• Knowledge of basin modeling techniques, stratigraphic trap models for carbonate and clastic regimes would be beneficial.

A) Masters in Geophysics/Geology.
B) At least 15 -20 years experience in 2D & 3D seismic interpretation and the planning and acquisition of 3-D seismic.
