the fields of Water, Environment, Urban Planning and IT Services, is
seeking to recruit a River Basin Management Planning expert for a
project aiming at implementing the European Water Framework Directive
principles on a pilot river basin in Romania.
Profile required
• University degree in Environmental area
• Fluency in English
• Minimum 12 years of professional experience in the field of
water management policy, river basin planning and environment
• Good knowledge of WFD and related procedures and requirements;
• At least 3 years experience in WFD implementation, especially
in defining the environmental objectives and measures plans
• Participation in at least one project concerning the river
basin management planning
• EU citizenship

seeking to recruit a Team Leader for Water Supply & Sewerage projects
preparation, in several counties within Romania and Bulgaria.
Qualifications and skills
o University degree in the Environmental field
o Strong skills in managing a team composed of international
and local experts
o Ability to ensure a know-how transfer through on-the-job
training
o Ability to consolidate information and report concisely and
coherently against deadlines.
o Thorough knowledge and experience in running of EC/IFI
projects
General professional experience
- At least 15 years of general professional experience
- Experience in applying relevant EU Directives in the water
supply & sewerage fields (in at least 2 projects)
- Experience in projects implemented under FIDIC Conditions of
Contract (in at least 2 projects)
Specific professional experience
o At least 5 years international experience
o Experience as Team Leader in at least 2 water/wastewater
projects (each over 500,000 € of consultancy services),
o Experience in long term investment planning for environmental
projects : e.g. Master Plan, regional strategies, etc. (in at least 2
projects)
o Experience in running EC/IFI financed projects (in at least 2
projects)
o Experience in Central & Eastern Europe countries (in at least
2 projects)
Fluency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of Romanian and/or
Bulgarian language would be an asset.
Long-term assignments.
